Position Overview

The Senior Staff Accountant will support key accounting operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory reconciliation, reporting, auditing, and vendor/client relationship management. This role will also provide oversight and guidance to accounting clerks while helping ensure financial accuracy and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Generate and issue client invoices and track incoming payments
• Process payments for various vendors
• Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable functions
• Process and file sales tax forms and assist with audits as needed
• Audit internal documents, procedures, credits, and account statuses
• Perform account reconciliations
• Oversee and review the work of accounting clerks, providing guidance and support to ensure accuracy and efficiency
• Analyze sales documents, inventory reports, and secondary billing data
• Manage inventory reconciliation, including entries, deductions, and adjustments
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and vendors
• Communicate with various departments regarding project updates and task statuses
• Investigate and resolve internal and external discrepancies and errors

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in accounting, accounts receivable/payable, or a related role
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
• 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate financial records
• Ability to thrive in a processdriven environment
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Additional Details

Salary: 75,000

Shift: Five days in-person
