Job Description

Grand Technology is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accountant to join our growing team in Cairo, Egypt. This is a full-time position offering a challenging and rewarding opportunity to contribute to the financial success of our company. The Senior Accountant will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our financial records and ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting regulations.

Responsibilities:


* Prepare and analyse financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
* Oversee and manage all aspects of the general ledger.
* Reconcile bank accounts and other balance sheet accounts.
* Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations.
* Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
* Collaborate with other departments to provide financial support and analysis.
* Prepare and file tax returns and other regulatory reports.
* Conduct internal audits and identify areas for improvement.
* Mentor and train junior accounting staff.

Qualifications:


* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
* A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is preferred.
* Proven experience of 3+ years in a similar role, preferably within the technology industry.
* Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
