About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the company’s accounting operations, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and supporting management in strategic financial decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
  • Manage general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and journal postings.
  • Review and analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable, payroll entries, and accruals.
  • Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
  • Liaise with external auditors, banks, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with local tax laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff.

Requirements

  • Nationality: Bahraini Only.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 3years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and local accounting regulations.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., ERP systems, QuickBooks, SAP).
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Able to join immediately or within one month.
