Senior Accountant Executive

Role Overview:

We are looking for a highly experienced and detail-oriented senior accountant to lead and manage our finance team at ahoy Consulting. The ideal candidate will oversee all accounting functions, supervise junior accountants, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and drive strategic financial planning. This role requires in-depth knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and hands-on expertise in TallyPrime.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure optimal use of TallyPrime for financial tracking, reporting, and documentation
• Lead the finance team and supervise day-to-day accounting operations.
• Finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Ensure accurate bookkeeping, account reconciliation, and financial documentation.
• Manage GST calculations and filings and ensure statutory tax compliance.
• Review and authorize financial transactions, invoices, and payments.
• Oversee internal audits and coordinate with external auditors.
• Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and financial forecasting.
• Provide financial insights and reports to support business decisions.
• Train and mentor junior accountants to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Must have a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience working with Tally

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (CA Inter or MBA Finance preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a senior role.
• Strong proficiency in TallyPrime and advanced MS Excel skills.
• In-depth knowledge of Indian accounting standards, GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
• Strong analytical, leadership, and organizational abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and integrity in handling confidential information.
