Senior Accountant – Healthcare Sector (UAE Experience Required)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to lead finance and accounting operations within a healthcare organization in the UAE. The role requires strong expertise in healthcare accounting, revenue cycle management, and regulatory compliance, along with the ability to manage both strategic financial planning and day-to-day accounting activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Finance and Accounts function
• Oversee the complete financial cycle including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
• Manage healthcare revenue cycle processes including insurance claims, billing, invoicing, reimbursements, and collections
• Ensure compliance with UAE healthcare regulations, VAT laws, and financial reporting standards
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial risks
• Develop financial strategies to support business growth and cost optimization
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, insurance providers, and regulatory authorities
• Establish and maintain internal controls, accounting policies, and compliance procedures
• Work closely with Operations, Administration, and HR to streamline financial processes

Payroll & Cost Management

• Oversee payroll processing, staff benefits, overtime, and gratuity calculations
• Monitor operational expenses and recommend cost-control initiatives

Requirements & Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
• Professional certification required: CPA, CA, or ACCA
• 7–10 years of accounting/finance experience, including minimum 3 years in a managerial role
• Mandatory UAE/GCC healthcare experience (clinic, hospital, home care, or EMS)
• Strong knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle management
• Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems such as Zoho, Tally, QuickBooks, Oracle, SAP, or similar
• Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial planning abilities
