Senior Accountant – Joinery / Woodworking Industry

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in the joinery / woodworking industry. The ideal candidate should have experience in day-to-day accounting and supporting the finalization of accounts including Trial Balance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle daily accounting operations including entries, invoicing, and reconciliations
• Support in the finalization of accounts and preparation of financial statements
• Manage accounts payable and receivable related to raw materials, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Support monthly closings, financial reports, and audits
• Coordinate with vendors and internal departments for timely payment and billing accuracy
• Monitor petty cash, payroll entries and prepare bank reconciliation statements.
• File Quarterly VAT returns and have knowledge of filing Annual Corporate Tax
• Preparing Financial Budgets and Forecast

Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing, construction, or joinery of minimum 5 to 7 years in GCC
• Familiarity with job costing and inventory accounting
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines and have excellent communication skills
