Senior Accountant- Native Arabic Speaker

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Accountant to manage the company’s financial operations, ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards and VAT regulations, and oversee the work of junior accounting staff. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, analytical, and fluent in both Arabic and English.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily accounting operations and review entries made by the Accounts Assistant.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Handle bank reconciliations, supplier accounts, and inter-company transactions.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable functions.
• Ensure accurate VAT filing and compliance with FTA regulations.
• Coordinate with auditors and provide necessary documentation.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Maintain accurate financial records in ERP/accounting systems.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to management for decision-making.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CA preferred).
• Minimum 4–6 years of UAE experience in accounting or finance.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and UAE VAT compliance.
• Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP systems) and MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Native Arabic speaker (fluency in English required).
• Prior experience in construction, contracting, or trading industries preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
