Position: Senior Accountant – Operations & Financial Control

Location: Muscat, Oman

We are looking for a highly organized and operationally strong Senior Accountant to join our growing team in the lighting manufacturing and trading industry.

The ideal candidate must be hands-on, detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing daily accounting operations while supporting financial control across multiple departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations

• Supervise and support accounting team members

• Monitor cash flow, supplier payments, and customer collections

• Follow up on receivables and outstanding balances

• Control expenses and payment schedules

• Perform bank reconciliations and financial reviews

• Maintain accounting records and ERP accuracy

• Coordinate with Sales, Purchase, Warehouse, and Management teams

• Monitor inventory transactions and stock reconciliation

• Support budgeting, reporting, and financial analysis

• Ensure VAT and compliance requirements are properly handled

• Improve internal controls and accounting procedures

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience

• Experience in manufacturing, trading, or distribution companies preferred

• Strong ERP knowledge (Odoo experience is a major advantage)

• Strong Excel and reporting skills

• Ability to manage daily operational finance activities

• Strong follow-up and communication skills

• Leadership and team management capability

• GCC experience preferred
