Senior Accountant – Payables (Interior Fit-Out Experience Required)

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant – Payables with a strong background in the interior fit-out or construction industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing accounts payable functions, ensuring accurate financial records, and supporting project-based accounting activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all accounts payable activities
• Process supplier invoices, subcontractor bills, and staff expense claims accurately and on time
• Verify invoices against purchase orders, contracts, and delivery notes
• Handle supplier reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Prepare payment schedules and coordinate timely payments
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with company policies
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities
• Assist in project cost tracking related to interior fit-out works
• Coordinate with procurement, project, and site teams

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 4–7 years of accounting experience, preferably in interior fit-out or construction
• Strong experience in accounts payable
• Good knowledge of accounting standards and financial controls
• Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Hands-on experience with Tally

Preferred Skills:

• Experience handling subcontractor and project-based payments
• Knowledge of construction contracts and variations
• Tally accounting system experience
