Senior Accountant (Remote)

SaaS & Startup Clients | QuickBooks Online | Multi-Client Environment

Our clients rely on us not just for bookkeeping, but for accurate financial reporting, operational insight, and dependable month-end close processes.

We are looking for an experienced Accountant who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-client environment and is comfortable working independently with minimal oversight. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys the technical side of accounting and is confident managing multiple sets of books while maintaining high accuracy and strong communication with clients.

This is a remote position with flexible scheduling, but candidates must be located in the United States or Canada.

What You'll Be Responsible For

• Managing month-end close processes across multiple client accounts
• Preparing and reviewing financial statements
• Recording journal entries and accruals
• Performing bank and credit card reconciliations
• Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable workflows
• Monitoring client accounts and assisting with collections when necessary
• Supporting budgeting and variance analysis
• Assisting with revenue recognition and financial analysis
• Working with internal team members and external partners such as CPAs and auditors

Required Accounting Experience

Candidates must have strong experience in the following areas:

• Accrual accounting
• General ledger management
• Month-end close processes
• Journal entries and account reconciliations
• Financial statement preparation
• Fixed assets and depreciation
• Sales tax and payroll accounting
• Budgeting and financial reporting

Experience working with multiple companies simultaneously is required.

Technology & Systems

Our firm operates within a modern accounting technology stack. Candidates must be comfortable working with cloud-based systems and learning new tools quickly.

Required experience:

• QuickBooks Online (advanced level)
• Cloud-based accounting workflows
• Financial reporting tools

Experience with any of the following is considered a strong asset:

• Bill.com
• Ramp
• Carta
• Stripe or other payment platforms
• SaaS or startup financial operations

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $27.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 25 per week
