Sr. Accountant ( Sole In-charge )

Job Summary

The Accountant (Sole In-Charge) will independently manage the full accounting cycle and financial operations of the company, including bookkeeping, VAT compliance, payroll, project costing, and preparation of client quotations. The role requires strong expertise in Tally and other ERP systems, along with solid experience in project-based accounting within the advertising and events industry.

Key Responsibilities1. Full Accounting Responsibilities

· Maintain complete set of accounts independently

· Handle General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable

· Perform bank reconciliations and petty cash management

· Prepare monthly financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)

· Conduct month-end and year-end closing

2. ERP & Tally Management

· Operate and manage accounting functions using Tally ERP

· Maintain accurate data entry and financial records in ERP systems

· Generate financial reports from ERP software

· Customize reports for management requirements

· Ensure proper system controls and backups

3. Quotation & Project Costing

· Prepare detailed quotations for exhibition stands, events, advertising, and interior projects

· Prepare costing sheets covering materials, fabrication, manpower, transport, subcontractors, and installation

· Apply profit margins and pricing strategies

· Coordinate with procurement and project teams for accurate costing

· Monitor actual costs vs. quoted budgets

4. VAT & Regulatory Compliance (UAE)

· Prepare and file UAE VAT returns

· Maintain VAT-compliant records

· Ensure adherence to UAE tax and financial regulations

5. Invoicing & Receivables

· Issue invoices as per contract terms

· Monitor collections and follow up with clients

· Maintain customer account reconciliations

6. Payables & Cash Flow

· Process supplier payments

· Manage payment schedules

· Monitor and forecast cash flow

7. Payroll Administration

· Process monthly payroll

· Calculate overtime, leave salary, and end-of-service benefits

· Ensure WPS compliance

Required Qualifications

· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance

· 2–4+ years of UAE accounting experience

· Strong hands-on experience in Tally ERP (mandatory)

· Working knowledge of other ERP systems (e.g., Zoho, SAP, QuickBooks, Odoo, etc.)

· Experience in project-based accounting (advertising/events/interiors preferred)

· Strong knowledge of UAE VAT & CT

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
