About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant with proven U.S. accounting experience to manage financial operations, ensure compliance, and support strategic financial decisions. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical abilities, hands-on expertise in U.S. GAAP, and a proactive approach to improving financial processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, analyse, and maintain accurate financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes.
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations.
- Prepare audit schedules and coordinate with internal/external auditors.
- Monitor cash flow and support treasury functions.
- Review, refine, and implement internal controls and accounting procedures.
- Support management with financial analysis and decision-making reports.
- Handle tax-related documentation, filings, and coordination with tax advisors.
Requirements:
- CA/ACCA or master’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
- 3–5 years of professional accounting experience within the US (mandatory).
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Hands-on experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modelling.
Preferred Skills:
- CPA, CMA, or related certification (preferred but not mandatory).
