Senior Accounting Manager

Senior Accountant (Remote) – Tax & Accounting | CPA Firm

We are a growing CPA firm seeking a high-performing Senior Accountant with strong tax and accounting experience.

What You’ll Do:

• Review client bookkeeping and some financial statement prep
• Prepare and review individual and business tax returns (1040, 1065, 1120S)
• Review and be able to correct client payroll and sales tax
• Handle complex clean-up projects and ensure books are tax-ready
• Use QuickBooks Online & Desktop extensively across a multi-client environment
• Prepare and review returns using UltraTax
• Tax planning, estimates and identify opportunities for clients

What We’re Looking For:

• 7–10+ years in public accounting (CPA firm experience required)
• Strong tax background (prep + review) across individuals and businesses
• Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Desktop (required)
• Hands-on experience with UltraTax
• Solid understanding of payroll, sales tax, and multi-state issues
• Strong reviewer mindset—able to catch errors and improve processes
• CPA is a must
