Job Overview
Oversee the financial operations of the regional entities, ensuring accuracy in financial statements, reconciliations, and tax compliance. This role involves close collaboration with the Regional CFO and respective Entity Directors, while managing the regional accounting team to maintain financial integrity and compliance across all operations.
Key Responsibilities

Supervise all accounting and financial management activities across the companies within the regional perimeter.

Direct and manage accounting resources within the assigned regional scope.

Coordinate activities with the Shared Service Center for accounting.

Support regional management by providing effective financial reporting, including variance analysis against budgets and forecasts.

Maintain and develop a strong internal control environment and ensure the integrity of all accounting records and transactions.

Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial data reported monthly to the Group.

Manage month-end and year-end closings, and prepare financial statements, cash flow reports, and budget vs. actual analyses.

Prepare periodic budgets and forecasts for the region in cooperation with the Financial Controller.

Oversee the preparation of statutory accounts and tax returns for the assigned regions.

Supervise accounts payable and receivable, including customer collection management.

Manage intercompany transactions, including processing, reconciliation, reporting, and payments.

Review and verify supporting documentation for bank payments.

Monitor daily banking operations and cash flow management.

Coordinate with external auditors and relevant authorities as required.

Collaborate with the International Tax Manager on company tax audits and interactions with foreign tax authorities.

Administer and coordinate external audits for regional entities.

Work closely with the Legal Department on accounting-related matters such as establishing new branches or subsidiaries, mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and bank account setup.

Provide training, mentorship, and guidance to Finance and Shared Services staff.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Proven leadership and managerial abilities in team development, organization, and implementation.

Proficiency in computerized accounting systems, preferably Microsoft D365.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to accuracy and detail.
Experience Requirements

Minimum of 13 years of progressive accounting and tax experience, including demonstrated success in a multinational environment and proven team management experience.
Education Requirements

Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification, or

Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
