Senior Accounts Manager

Malappuram, India

The Senior Accountant is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, statutory requirements, and company policies. The role involves financial reporting, budgeting, tax management, and guiding junior accounting staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements such as GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other regulatory filings.
  • Monitor and analyze accounting data; produce financial reports and statements.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
  • Coordinate and support internal and external audits.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor junior accountants and accounting staff.
  • Review and verify expense reports, invoices, and journal entries.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely closing of accounts.
  • Collaborate with management to improve financial processes and internal controls.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior role.
  • Proficiency in Tally, ERP
  • Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances.
  • Advanced MS Excel and analytical skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
