Senior Accounts Officer

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations and month-end closing activities.
• Prepare financial statements, MIS reports, and management summaries.
• Handle payables, receivables, bank reconciliations, journal entries, and ledgers.
• Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Monitor inventory accounting, costing, and stock reconciliations (manufacturing environment).
• Ensure compliance with VAT, corporate tax, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with auditors, provide necessary documentation, and support audit processes.
• Assist in reviewing internal controls and improving accounting systems and processes.
• Work closely with procurement, production, retail, and warehouse teams for financial accuracy.
• Maintain documentation and ensure proper financial record-keeping.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s is an advantage).
• Article ship completed (mandatory).
• 6–7 years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing, fragrance, cosmetics, or FMCG retail.
• Strong understanding of inventory costing, production accounting, and retail reconciliation.
• Knowledge of VAT, corporate tax, and compliance requirements (UAE/GCC preferred).
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP, QuickBooks, SAP) and MS Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From AED6,000.00 per month
