Senior Advocate

The role involves mentoring and guiding a young team of advocates, reviewing case strategies, and representing the firm in high-stakes litigation.

Responsibilities: -

⚖ Appear before civil courts, criminal courts, commercial courts, tribunals, and High Court of Karnataka.

⚖ Draft and review pleadings, writ petitions, appeals, complaints, affidavits, and other legal documents.

⚖ Conduct cross-examinations, arguments, and handle mediation/settlement processes.

⚖ Guide and mentor junior advocates in case preparation, drafting, and court conduct.

⚖ Advise the firm’s management team on litigation risk, case strategy, and compliance matters.

⚖ Coordinate with clients in Kannada/English for case updates, counseling, and strategy discussions.

⚖ Ensure proper documentation and filing processes are followed in all matters.

Qualifications & Skills: -

✔ LL.B. degree from a recognized university.

✔ Enrolled with the Karnataka State Bar Council.

✔ Minimum 10+ years of active litigation practice in Bangalore.

✔ Strong command over Kannada (spoken & written) and English.

✔ Demonstrated experience in civil, commercial, and criminal litigation.

✔Ability to mentor juniors and lead a litigation team.

✔ Excellent drafting, argumentation, and negotiation skills.

Preferred Background: -

- Previously appeared before High Court of Karnataka and district courts.

- Experience in handling corporate litigation, commercial disputes, and arbitration.

- Prior mentoring/leadership role in a law firm or chamber.
