Job Title: Senior Advocate – Legal (Title Opinion / Property Documents)
Location: Hyderabad
Experience: 4–5 years (NBFC / Banking preferred)
Salary: Up to 8 LPA

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Advocate to lead legal assessments and provide expert Title Opinions on property documents for LAP (Loan Against Property) cases. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property law, document verification, and due diligence for both major & minor properties within the NBFC/Lending domain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review, verify, and validate property ownership and title deed documentation
• Provide comprehensive legal opinions on major/minor property titles for LAP underwriting
• Assess legal risks, discrepancies, and encumbrances in property-related papers
• Conduct due diligence, including history of ownership and legal clearance
• Liaise with internal credit & risk teams on property-related legal assessments
• Interpret and advise on land laws, real estate acts, and property transfer regulations
• Maintain legal recordkeeping and ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks
• Manage and guide junior legal staff when required

Requirements:

• LLB / LLM from a recognized institution
• 4–5 years of relevant experience in NBFC / Banking / Legal Property Validation
• Strong knowledge of local & national property laws
• Proven expertise in legal opinions related to property and mortgages
• Experience reviewing legal documents such as title deeds, release deeds, sale deeds, will, power of attorney, etc.
• Excellent analytical ability and attention to detail
• Strong communication and drafting skills

Preferred Background:

• Experience working with NBFCs / Banks / Housing finance companies
• Exposure to Loan Against Property legal evaluations

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
