Description

SAIC has an upcoming need for an Aerospace Cybersecurity Trainer to support Mission Assurance Cyber Coordination Elements (MACCE) at Little Rock, Arkansas. The trainer will support the development of aerospace curriculum for MACCE personnel.

The Aerospace Cybersecurity Trainer will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

  • Research and develop aircraft control subsystems and related systems for artifacts to utilize in lab environments for courses
  • Incorporate aircraft Technical Orders (T.O.s), engineering standards, and DAF guidance and standards to shape training curriculum for Mission Assurance (MA) with cyber dependencies
  • Collaborate with others on team to build out labs and scenarios for cyber effects on aircraft subsystems, embedded systems, and serial data buses
  • Work with other curriculum developers to plan, design, develop, and deliver curriculum that will be taught. Additionally, the candidate will assist with other curriculum development needs as they arise such as, sortie generation, mission execution, DAF structure, and flightline operations
  • Work with Team Lead and Program Management team on delivering technical project artifacts for curriculum buildouts and advise on path-forward for cyber aerospace project future developments

Qualifications

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's degree and five (5) years’ experience; additional four (4) years’ experience can be considered in lieu of degree


Required Clearance:

  • Must possess an active Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI; US Citizenship required


Required Skills:

  • Deep knowledge of aircraft and elements of aerospace engineering such as aerodynamics, propulsion, structures, flight design, and/or control
  • Ability to present material in front of an audience in a classroom setting
  • Background in aircraft/aerospace cybersecurity preferred but not necessary. Candidate must be willing to research and develop deliverables focused on cybersecurity on aircraft/aerospace assets.
  • Knowledge of Mission Assurance doctrine and Technical Orders (T.O.s)


Desired Skills:

  • Background of teaching in military training environments highly preferred
  • Aircraft/aerospace technical training
