Overview
We are seeking an experienced
Senior Agile Scrum Master
to support enterprise-level data, analytics, and IT modernization initiatives. This role requires a seasoned Agile professional who can lead cross-functional teams, drive delivery excellence, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate brings strong experience facilitating Agile ceremonies, removing delivery impediments, and coaching teams toward high performance while aligning with broader organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
Agile Delivery & Facilitation

Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives

Ensure consistent application of Agile principles, frameworks, and best practices

Support delivery of complex technology and data platform initiatives
Team Coaching & Leadership

Act as a servant leader to Agile teams, product owners, and stakeholders

Coach teams on self-organization, accountability, and continuous improvement

Foster a collaborative, transparent, and high-performing team environment
Impediment Removal & Execution Support

Identify, track, and proactively remove blockers impacting delivery

Drive issue resolution across cross-functional teams and stakeholders

Ensure alignment with program goals, timelines, and priorities
Metrics, Reporting & Continuous Improvement

Track and report on sprint metrics including velocity, burndown, and progress

Provide insights into team performance and delivery trends

Promote continuous improvement through retrospectives and feedback loops
Business & Systems Analysis Support

Analyze business needs and operational challenges to support solution delivery

Collaborate with stakeholders to document requirements and process improvements

Assist in evaluating system capabilities, constraints, and enhancement opportunities
Required Qualifications
-
8+ years
of experience as a Scrum Master supporting Agile delivery teams

Strong experience facilitating all core Scrum ceremonies

Proven ability to identify and remove delivery impediments

Experience coaching Agile teams on best practices and team maturity

Hands-on experience with Agile tools such as
Jira
or similar

Experience tracking and reporting Agile metrics (velocity, sprint progress, etc.)

Experience working on
large-scale enterprise IT or data initiatives

Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting
state or government technology projects

Scrum certifications such as
CSM, PSM, or equivalent

Exposure to enterprise data, analytics, or digital transformation programs
Work Environment

Hybrid role with a mix of onsite and remote work in Austin, TX

Occasional work outside standard business hours may be required (pre-approved)
