Senior AI Delivery Lead

Role Purpose

As the Senior AI Delivery Lead, you will drive the execution of enterprise AI capabilities across

the group. You will champion a "Configure-First" approach—leveraging Copilot Studio for rapid

M365-integrated solutions while reserving custom engineering for complex orchestration via

Azure AI Foundry. This role balances internal delivery, deep business collaboration, and the

technical oversight of external AI providers to ensure a unified and secure AI ecosystem.

The role operates within a federated group structure spanning 13 insurance entities across 9

MENA countries. Influence and credibility matter more than hierarchy — the ability to engage

subsidiary teams, win trust across cultures, and drive adoption without direct authority is as

important as technical capability.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Collaboration & Use Case Strategy

  • Domain Partnership: Work directly with business, underwriting, claims, operations,

finance, and risk teams to identify, document, and prioritize high-value AI use cases

across subsidiaries.

  • Solution Translation: Translate complex business problems into functional AI solutions,

moving from initial ideation to proof of concepts (PoCs) and MVPs.

  • Ideation Leadership: Facilitate AI circles, hackathons, and prototype labs to foster a

culture of AI-driven innovation across the group.

2. Tiered AI Delivery & Engineering

  • Rapid Deployment: Prioritize the use of Copilot Studio and Power Platform for

conversational AI and internal knowledge assistants to ensure speed-to-market.

  • Custom Orchestration: Design and implement bespoke RAG pipelines and agentic

workflows using the Microsoft Agent Framework and Azure AI Agent Service.

  • Integration: Build AI-enabled workflows that connect with enterprise systems (CRM,

ERP, Claims systems) via custom APIs and connectors.

3. External Project Oversight

  • Vendor Gatekeeping: Serve as the lead technical reviewer for AI projects developed by

external providers to ensure they meet group standards for architecture and scalability.

  • Compliance Alignment: Ensure third-party solutions adhere to the Group AI

Governance Framework, data classification standards, and security protocols.

4. Governance & Monitoring

  • Security & Risk: Apply essential controls, including prompt injection protection and

sensitive data detection, ensuring all AI activity is visible via Microsoft Sentinel.

  • Performance Metrics: Maintain dashboards tracking token consumption, Azure costs,

and the measurable business value delivered by each deployment.

Required Experience & Skills

  • Experience: 5–8 years in AI/Software Engineering or Digital Transformation with a clear

progression toward delivery leadership.

  • Microsoft Ecosystem: Hands-on expertise in Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry, Azure

OpenAI, and Azure AI Search.

  • Agentic Frameworks: Experience with the Microsoft Agent Framework, Azure AI Agent

Service, or equivalent orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, AutoGen, or

Semantic Kernel.

  • Technical Proficiency: Professional command of Python and at least one of C#,

JavaScript, or TypeScript.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage

equally with technical engineers and non-technical business leaders.

  • Domain Knowledge: Experience in Insurance or Financial Services is a strong advantage.
  • Language: English and Arabic language proficiency is a meaningful advantage given our

MENA footprint.

Preferred Certifications

  • Microsoft Azure AI Engineer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft

Power Platform certification

  • Security certification: SC-900, AZ-500, or equivalent

Success Indicators

The 90-Day Plan

SIEM visibility.

The 12 Months Plan

  • Active Delivery: Scale 4–6 AI use cases into production across at least two business
