About this opportunity:

We’re hiring a Senior AI Engineer to lead development of production-grade Generative AI on AWS—LLM services, RAG pipelines, and multi-agent systems. You’ll own lifecycle management for prompts, embeddings, models, policies, and IaC (Terraform), implement safety guardrails and observability, and drive AI governance while collaborating across backend, frontend, DevOps, and product teams. What you will do:

• Lead design and delivery of production-grade GenAI applications (LLM services, RAG pipelines, multi-agent systems) on AWS
• Own the lifecycle management (LCM) for GenAI components: prompts, policies, agent tools, knowledge bases, embeddings, and model versions; define versioning, rollbacks, approvals, and documentation
• Translate business requirements into scalable architectural designs for Generative AI models, frameworks, and solutions
• Implement guardrails, safety layers, and Model Context Protocol integrations for secure, controlled LLM usage
• Build observability for GenAI workloads: structured logging, tracing, telemetry for prompt/response, retrieval quality metrics, and cost and latency dashboards
• Define IaC (Terraform) standards for GenAI stacks
• Drive cross-functional execution with backend, frontend, DevOps, and product teams
• Define and oversee AI governance, ethical AI use, and compliance with data privacy regulations
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration

The skills you bring:

• 5+ years of AI/ML engineering with 2+ years specifically in Generative AI and LLM applications
• Expert knowledge of RAG architectures, vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, OpenSearch), and embedding strategies
• LLM orchestration frameworks: LangChain/LangGraph/LlamaIndex
• Experience with prompt engineering, tool-calling, function schemas, and agent design patterns (ReAct, planner-executor)
• Experience with LLM fine-tuning techniques, and LLM evaluation methodologies
• Strong proficiency with AWS AI/ML services: Bedrock, SageMaker, Lambda, ECS/Fargate for GenAI workloads
• Solid software engineering skills in Python with experience in production-grade APIs
• Knowledge of AWS security best practices for AI applications and data governance
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for GenAI model deployment and version management
