Senior AI Engineer

We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer to build and run AI systems on Microsoft Azure, focusing on large language models (LLMs), conversational agents, and AI pipelines. This role is hands-on and involves working with text, documents, images, and audio to deliver reliable, scalable AI solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Build AI applications using Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Search, and Azure Speech.
• Design and maintain LLM-based agents and AI workflows.
• Handle large documents, text, and voice data, making sure AI outputs are accurate and usable.
• Optimize AI systems for speed, cost, and reliability.
• Work with other teams to understand requirements and deliver AI solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable code in Python.
• Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge with the team.

Required Skills:

• 3+ years of software engineering experience.
• 2–3+ years working with AI or LLM-based systems.
• Hands-on experience with Azure OpenAI and Azure Cognitive Services.
• Knowledge of agent systems, RAG pipelines, embeddings, and prompt engineering.
• Experience with document processing, OCR, image and audio analysis.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex systems.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Arabic NLP or other complex languages.
• Experience with Azure Speech (STT/TTS).
• Familiarity with Semantic Kernel or Azure Agent Framework.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
