Location: Karachi (on-site, no remote)

Salary: 80,000 – 150,000 PKR/month (higher possible for highly experienced candidates)

About Us

We are building a next-generation AI-powered legal application for the Austrian market. Our platform automates the complete law firm workflow – from client intake to contract analysis, clause detection, deadline management, and final contract creation. Using state-of-the-art AI, RAG pipelines, and workflow automation, we aim to drastically reduce operational workload and let lawyers focus on high-value legal review.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AI-driven contract analysis tools tailored to multiple contract types (rental, real estate, employment, company formation, etc.).
• Build and optimize RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines with embeddings, clause libraries, and Austrian law references.
• Develop and maintain FastAPI-based microservices powering the legal workflows.
• Integrate OCR, document parsing, and structured data extraction for PDF/DOCX contracts.
• Connect with external Austrian legal registries (company register, land registry, public court notices).
• Enhance the AI Contract Editor (redlining, clause checking, AI suggestions).
• Ensure GDPR-compliant and secure architecture.
• Collaborate with lawyers and business stakeholders to translate legal requirements into scalable AI solutions.

Requirements

• 3+ years experience as AI/ML Engineer or Senior Data Scientist.
• Strong expertise in Python, FastAPI, LangChain, HuggingFace, and vector databases (FAISS, Weaviate, Pinecone, Chroma).
• Proven experience with RAG systems and NLP-based contract analysis.
• Familiarity with OCR frameworks (Tesseract, PaddleOCR, etc.).
• Experience in SQL/NoSQL databases and cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality results in a structured way.
• Bonus: Background in LegalTech, contract management, or compliance software.
