Senior Aluminum Estimation Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Analyse drawing, specifications, and documents to prepare comprehensive cost estimates
• Handling inquiry - follow up on missing information, documents & clarifications
• Review design options and recommend best solution, select and finalize the systems
• Selecting & finalizing the systems, typologies & profiles
• Preparation of value engineering options by complying to the client requirement.
• Prepare Preliminary Structural and Thermal calculation
• Checking window schedule, BOQ and section details
• Cost estimation of complete system, prepare, finalize, submit quotations and obtain customer acceptance
• Selection of suitable systems according to the project specification
• Work closely with fabricators and suggest suitable systems in the absence of proper specification from consultant.
• Preparation of technical compliance while submitting commercial proposal
• Handling window schedule, bill of quantities (BOQ) & analytical section details
• Calculate material quantity requirements, utilize Estimation software/plan swift and prepare material take-off
• Prepare final position drawings & quantities as per approved shop drawings

Qualifications:
Graduate degree in Engineering (mechanical/industrial/civil/architectural engineer)

Experience:
Minimum 5 years’ experience as Estimator in aluminum façade systems or aluminum & glass fabrication industry.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED7,500.00 per month
