Position Summary:

The Senior Analyst in Corporate Quality is responsible for leveraging advanced data analytics tools to identify, evaluate, and recommend enterprise‑wide quality improvement opportunities. This role partners closely with stakeholders across Quality, Engineering, Commercial, Finance, Operations, and IT to translate data into actionable insights. The Senior Analyst owns the development, refinement, and reliable delivery of corporate quality metrics and KPIs, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and organizational alignment. Additionally, this position drives sustainable improvements to the quality analytics program and conducts ad hoc analyses for quality leadership. This position also collaborates closely with key decision‑makers, MQI Process and Data Lead(s), and the IT Data & Analytics team to collect, curate, synthesize, and analyze data. Insights generated by this role support continuous improvement initiatives related to customer return reduction, quality planning effectiveness, non-conformance reduction, and audit performance.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Conducts quantitative analysis to identify opportunities to achieve business imperatives. Initiates further analysis and recommendations based on findings.
  • Collaborates across functional groups and makes recommendations leveraging available system solutions, relationships, and escalating when appropriate.
  • Proactively gathers and incorporates requirements and feedback from end users and leaders to design, develop, and implement analytics solutions that drive insight and enable key business decisions.
  • Participate in development and implementation of processes and solutions to collect and analyze data on established areas.
  • Understands and can teach quality concepts across multiple disciplines.
  • Demonstrates overall knowledge of Swagelok’s manufacturing, inspection, supplier, and SSC quality processes, and, applies knowledge to achieve organizational impact
  • Support and begins to lead project teams working to drive optimization and overall success. Utilize project management methodologies.
  • Creates and presents recommendations in a concise manner to management.
  • Cultivates and leverages relationships across multiple disciplines to resolve issues.
  • Able to independently extract and interpret data and complete complex ad hoc analyses.
  • Continuously looks for ways to benchmark and improve processes through analysis of methods and models.
  • Makes analysis adjustments using the most effective method.
  • Acts as the primary contact within the Corporate Quality for the testing and implementation of analytics solutions, processes and application improvements.
  • Analyzes requirements to troubleshoot problems and/or answer questions.
  • Generates new ideas and willingly supports change initiatives.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

Education
: Bachelors degree in relevant field
Experience: 7+ years of experience in previous relevant positions (quality, engineering, analytics, or analysts)
Skills:
  • Understands key quality functions throughout the different departments. Utilizes this knowledge to collaborate cross-functionally resulting in decisions that benefit the strategic and operational goals of the organization.
  • Demonstrates the initiative to build knowledge, organizational and business awareness
  • Data literacy and user experience (UX) best practices for visualization.
  • Some experience with project management methodology, process improvement tools (Lean, Six Sigma), or statistics.
  • Ability to multi-task, work in teams and use multiple systems and processes to handle changing requirements.
  • Experience with SAP, Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Query, Power Apps, Power Automate)

Preferred
: Experience with Data Modeling, DAX formulas, SQL, Data Flows, Data Warehouses, Data Sphere, Synapse, or Python.

Working Conditions and/or Physical Requirements:

  • Physical requirements associated with normal office working environment.
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment.
