The Royal Caribbean Group has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Senior Analyst Corporate Strategy reporting to the Lead of Corporate Strategy

This position works on-site in Miami Florida

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Analyst of Corporate Strategy with exceptional problem solving communication and data analytics capabilities to join our dynamic team The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate strategy business analysis and data analytics

RCG’s Corporate Strategy team is part of the broader finance organization and is responsible for driving top-tier shareholder return and winning demand from the broader travel and leisure market Corporate Strategy is responsible for a five-year strategic plan setting public financial targets optimizing RCG’s portfolio of brands and assets and capturing vacationing demand by following its customer As a member of the Corporate Strategy team and finance organization you will have high visibility to Group leadership collaborate with cross-functional teams across the organization and own high-value projects that contribute to RCG’s growth in the next 10+ years

As a Senior Analyst of Corporate Strategy you will play a crucial role in driving strategic initiatives conducting in-depth analyses and providing actionable insights to support the company's growth and profitability Your technical expertise in data analytics will be pivotal in shaping our strategic direction and decision-making processes as well as standing-up new data capabilities to improve RCG’s ability to deliver exceptional results and create long term value

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Strategic Analysis and Planning Conduct comprehensive market industry
  • and competitive research and analyses to inform strategic decisions
  • Develop and implement strategic frameworks and models to evaluate business opportunities
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to define and refine corporate strategy and long-term goals
  Deeply study the customer and derive demand-based insights to recommend new strategies for the organization
  • Build financial models to support business analysis and underwriting of strategic investments

• Data Analytics and Insights Utilize advanced data analytics techniques to extract manipulate
  • and analyze large datasets
  Demonstrate proficiency in SQL to develop and own corporate strategy data tables create custom queries and perform custom data analyses on a recurring basis to support strategic initiatives (eg
  • customer lifetime value analysis)
  Demonstrate comfort in programming languages such as Python or R to automate data extraction transformation
  • and analytic processes
  Demonstrate comfort using relational database management systems for in-depth strategic analyses and reporting
  • Experience with Databricks or similar cloud-based data systems preferred
  • Design and implement data pipelines and ETL processes to ensure data integrity and accessibility
  • Perform trend analysis and other data analytics techniques to forecast business performance
  • Generate actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis to drive strategic initiatives

• Reporting and Visualization Create and deliver comprehensive reports dashboards
  • and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders
  Demonstrate ability to visualize complex data in an understandable and actionable manner and communicate findings in memos and PowerPoint presentations Experience developing PowerBI dashboards preferred

• Collaboration and Leadership Work closely with cross-functional teams including finance marketing and operations
  • to gather data and align on strategic objectives
  • Mentor and guide junior analysts in data analytics and strategic analysis methodologies
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices

Qualifications Knowledge and Skills:

• Education Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Economics Analytics Statistics
  • or a related field

• Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a corporate strategy and/or data analytics role
  • Proven track record of utilizing data analytics to drive strategic decisions and business growth

• Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in SQL is a must
  Proficiency in other programming languages such as Python or R are preferred
  • but not required
  Strong expertise in data manipulation statistical analysis
  • and predictive modeling
  In-depth knowledge of database management systems and optimization (eg
  • Oracle/Hyperion/SQL Server/Toad/Databricks)
  Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau Power BI
  • or similar platforms

• Soft Skills Excellent analytical problem-solving
  • and critical-thinking skills
  Strong communication and presentation abilities
  • with the capacity to convey complex data insights clearly and concisely
  Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced
  • dynamic environment
