About Insights & Advisory (IA)

Our Insights and Advisory team play a crucial role in providing strategic guidance and data-driven insights to organizations. By analyzing market trends, consumer behavior, and business data, our team helps decision-makers make informed choices that can positively impact their organization's performance and bottom line. We work across diverse industries and sectors like Technology, Industrials, Energy, Chemicals, Life Sciences and Logistics, including market research, strategy, sales and marketing, R&D, and more.

What You Will Be Doing -

• Coordinate with the client stakeholders to understand project requests, define the scope of research and regularly communicate to provide updates on projects
• Demonstrate domain expertise and thought leadership in New/Clean Energy topics while dealing with the client team with minimal guidance
• Conduct primary and secondary research to gather data from credible sources, including industry databases, company filings and reports, news sources, and expert interviews
• Establish analytical infrastructure and conduct macro analysis, including the assessment of the entire energy value chain, and implications for the future of the industry
• Conduct detailed market study to analyze the latest market trends in the energy sector, with a primary focus on clean energy sector, and track competitor’s activities including strategic positioning, partnerships, technology focus, regulatory play, and financial performance
• Experience of supporting energy clients in their energy transition journeys, including assessment of renewable power projects, future mobility, hydrogen value chain etc.
• Closely analyze pricing trends, cost structures, regulatory dynamics, and market dynamics across the energy value chain
• Prepare periodic newsletters, market updates, and strategic briefs tailored to client needs. Create high-impact presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders
• Build and maintain relationships with internal teams and external partners to ensure alignment and collaboration. Support client workshops, webinars, and strategic discussions

What We Are Looking For -

• Ability to understand the consulting business environment, language, & processes
• Sound primary and secondary research skills with high-impact presentation-based delivery
• Experience in using industry databases
• Understanding of the entire energy value chain, with a high focus on the conventional and clean energy sources such as the hydrogen and ammonia value chain
• Basic financial knowledge of (companies/projects) will be a huge plus
• Excellent oral communication, writing skills and strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to ensure that tasks within areas of responsibility are completed in a timely manner
• An analytical frame of mind
• Drive to achieve task/objective under extreme time pressure and ability to multitask
• Proficiency in MS Office

Education and experience

• University degree from a reputed institute with 3-5 years of research experience. Master's Degree will be an additional advantage.
