About the position

Location: Bengaluru, India

Hybrid

This role focuses on managing end-to-end financial processes, including fixed asset and lease accounting, GL reconciliations, and process standardization across global entities. It involves leading a Center of Excellence team, driving efficiency through automation and lean practices, and consolidating SOPs for global compliance. The position requires expertise in SAP migrations, ensuring accurate reconciliations during system transitions, and implementing tools for lease accounting. Strong stakeholder engagement and team leadership are key, along with experience in cost optimization and transformation initiatives. The role is ideal for someone who can balance operational excellence with strategic process improvements.

So, what does it take to be successful in this role?

Managing end-to-end R2R accounting processes
– You'll take responsibility for accurate processing of financial transactions, including journal entries, fixed assets, and ensuring timely completion of all financial close activities.

Performing reconciliations and compliance checks
– You'll prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations, support intercompany reconciliations, and ensure adherence to GAAP, local statutory requirements, and internal controls.

Supporting reporting and audits
– You'll assist with statutory filings, deliver audit documentation, and maintain the integrity of financial systems in line with company policies.

Collaborating with global finance teams
– You'll work closely with Treasury, P2P, B2C, SCF, and country controllers to ensure seamless hand-offs and resolve discrepancies efficiently.

Driving process improvements and issue resolution
– You'll proactively identify key issues, propose solutions, and contribute to simplifying and standardizing processes for greater efficiency.
