Global Merchant Services (GMS) Marketing is dedicated to bringing buyers and sellers together and transforming how American Express is welcomed. GMS Marketing is responsible for partnering with GMS markets to drive profitable growth, accelerate Merchant acceptance and enhance the value of acceptance to Merchants and Card Members at scale. We focus on enhancing our relationships with millions of Merchants of all shapes and sizes, and our geographic purview includes many commerce hubs across the globe.

How will you make an impact in this role?

This position sits on the U.S. Merchant Marketing team and provides an exciting opportunity to strengthen marketing skills, gain external partner management experience, and work with highly collaborative teams across USMM and other business units. The Senior Analyst will play a key role in developing multi-channel go-to-market strategies, leading campaign execution, and implementing innovative ideas into new and existing projects to drive incremental performance that will help reach USMM goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor, report and analyze campaign results, providing recommendations to enhance future campaigns.
  • Manage development, execution and reporting of key Enterprise-wide campaigns and go-to-market strategies with a focus on email marketing.
  • Own approval requests from key stakeholders to ensure messaging, value, and priorities are unified across USMM, Legal, Brand, and more.
  • Manage the Growth Marketing team budget, meeting all hurdles and commitment deadlines.
  • Stay up to date on external trends and identify opportunities to strengthen our campaigns through new Test & Learn opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience and 2-3 years industry relevant digital marketing or digital agency experience
  • Strong understanding of marketing tactics and performance metrics, especially email marketing; familiar with implementing campaigns across channels
  • Detail oriented project management skills and knowledge of approval and compliance processes
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills, with a knack for distilling down complex ideas into customer-friendly language.
  • Campaign execution experience (email, media) a plus.
  • Strong team player and collaborator who enjoys learning new skills and can adapt changing tasks/processes

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Budget management experience a plus

Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
