Senior Angular JS Developer - UAE's Leading Bank

About the Role:

Are you a highly skilled Angular Software Engineer looking to take your expertise to the next level? We are hiring a Senior Angular Developer to join our high-performing development team and contribute to mission-critical projects for a leading UAE bank. This is a full-time onsite role at our Offshore Development Center (ODC) in Bengaluru, where innovation, speed, and excellence define our culture.

Educational Qualifications:

Postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
OR
Equivalent hands-on professional experience

Experience Requirements:

• 7+ years of professional experience in developing AngularJS applications for web and mobile platforms
• Proven background in building high-performance, enterprise-grade applications
• Expertise in designing and developing reusable, modular, and testable components
• Hands-on experience with custom Angular modules and extending core functionality
• Skilled in automating build processes and preparing code for production deployment
• Domain experience in Banking or Retail is mandatory

Core Technical Skills:

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and JSS
• In-depth understanding of AngularJS, Angular Material, and Bootstrap
• Experience with Node.js and JavaScript libraries such as Devolte
• Strong front-end optimization and cross-browser compatibility
• Writing non-blocking, asynchronous code and implementing multi-threading where applicable
• Documenting code using JSDoc
• Good understanding of platform layers, RESTful APIs, caching mechanisms, and custom wrappers
• Experience with version control systems like Git and familiarity with CI/CD practices

Functional & Process Knowledge:

• Adheres to enterprise-grade coding, documentation, and security standards
• Working experience in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Ability to contribute to technical architecture, solution design, and technical documentation
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and benchmarking skills
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams including designers, QA, and business stakeholders

Soft Skills & Team Collaboration:

• Technically sound and confident in influencing development best practices
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating across teams
• Strong communication skills to engage with senior management, product owners, and client stakeholders
• Passion for learning, mentoring, and driving engineering excellence
