Job Description:

Join a fast-growing fintech provider in lending as a Senior Web Front-End Developer - working closely with requirement analysts and operations teams to develop, test, and support a mortgage lending application. You will be required to complete assigned tasks in a fast-paced, agile environment. This is a full-time position.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise applications development.
  • Has experience and knowledge of:
  • JavaScript - knowledge of ECMAScript 2016+ syntax, Jquery, DOM, RestAPI
  • TypeScript - strong understanding of OOP and SOLID principles
  • HTML5/CSS3 - understanding of flex and grid layout, responsive layout, semantic layout, cross-browser layout. Good to know the BEM methodology. Experience in web page development using Bootstrap 3+ CSS framework and svg graphics. SASS/SCSS
  • NodeJS/npm - Webpack, gulp
  • AngularJS / Angular 2+ - knowledge of ngrx, reactivity, control flow syntax, experience in developing tests
  • Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Figma
  • Development/source version control tools such as Git, Jira.
  • Demonstrated understanding of standard security practices and tools.
  • Ability to understand the architecture thought process
  • Willingness to learn and work hard
  • Be ready to re-do the code due to requirements or comments of a core reviewer
  • Be able to accept other’s point of view even if it is different from his/her own
  • Demonstrated focus and attention to details
  • Constantly analyze and remember the solutions that were applied to previous issues
  • Interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written), presentation skills, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong work ethics, a passion for excellence and a desire to continuously learning/improving your skills are a must.

**Candidate will be given a sample task to complete to demonstrate the skills and knowledge.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.

Duties:

  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using C#, .Net ASP.NET Web API, and related frameworks.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following coding standards and best practices.
  • Perform system analysis, requirements gathering, and technical design in collaboration with business analysts and stakeholders.
  • Develop RESTful APIs, web services, and backend components to support business applications.
  • Implement changes in the database structure, including writing queries, patches, and optimizing performance.
  • Do code reviews, unit testing, and debugging to ensure software quality.
  • Mentor other developers, provide technical guidance, and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Ensure applications follow security, scalability, and performance best practices.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, system specifications.

  • Onsite at our McLean office Monday – Thursday, Remote on Fridays
