Senior Animator

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Animator to join our creative team and bring life to our next generation of casino slot games. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in After Effects and Spine , with a strong eye for detail, player psychology, and engaging motion design. You will work closely with game designers, artists, and developers to create compelling animations that enhance player experience, retention, and excitement.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and produce high-quality 2D animations for casino slot games, including:
  • Reel spins, symbol win effects, free spins, and jackpot animations.
  • Bonus features, transitions, and cinematic sequences.
• Animate characters, symbols, and UI elements using Spine for real-time deployment.
• Create cinematic and VFX sequences using After Effects for polished, impactful visuals.
• Collaborate with artists, game designers, and developers to ensure animations fit seamlessly into the game environment and meet performance requirements.
• Optimize animations for performance, memory usage, and smooth gameplay experience.
• Mentor junior animators, share best practices, and help define animation standards.
• Stay up to date with animation trends in gaming and continuously push creative boundaries.

Primary Skills (Must-Have)

• After Effects (advanced motion graphics, compositing, particle systems, expressions).
• Spine (skeleton rigging, mesh deformation, weights, IK constraints, runtime optimization).

Secondary Skills

• Adobe Photoshop (asset preparation, sprite sheets, image editing).
• Adobe Illustrator (vector asset creation and optimization).
• Adobe Audition (basic sound editing and syncing for animations).

Good to Have

• Prior experience in Casino Slot Games or iGaming industry .
• Understanding of player psychology in slots (anticipation, excitement, win hierarchy).
• Knowledge of Unity or similar game engines for integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Animation, Fine Arts, Multimedia, or related field.
Strong portfolio demonstrating relevant work (preferably casino slots or casual games).
