Senior Animator

Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior 2D Animator with strong storytelling ability, artistic vision, and hands-on production experience to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality animations, contributing creative ideas, and mentoring junior animators while ensuring all deliverables align with the project’s creative direction, quality standards, and timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Create high-quality 2D animations for characters, environments, explainer videos, and motion graphics
• Translate scripts, storyboards, and concepts into engaging visual narratives
• Collaborate with creative directors, designers, illustrators, instructional designers, and content teams to develop concepts and visual styles
• Lead animation projects from concept to final delivery
• Review animations and provide constructive feedback to maintain consistency and quality
• Mentor and guide junior animators, helping improve team skills and productivity
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas
• Prepare and organize animation assets and source files for final delivery, compositing, or handoff
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and meet defined quality and brand standards

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in 2D animation
• Strong proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Adobe Animate, Photoshop, and Illustrator
• Solid understanding of animation principles including timing, spacing, motion, and character performance
• Experience creating animations for digital, eLearning, or media-based projects
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Good communication and collaboration skills

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

• Bachelor’s degree in Animation, Fine Arts, Design, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• Experience in eLearning or educational content
• Exposure to 3D tools such as Blender, Maya, or Cinema 4D
• Basic knowledge of video editing and audio syncing

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,098.01 - ₹49,935.03 per month
