Position Objective

Orchestrate API-driven ecosystems for a mega telco operator in GCC/KSA. Accelerate digital services monetisation. Establish the organisation as a leader in API marketplace innovation

Job Description & Responsibilities

• Build API marketplaces using Apigee, AWS API Gateway, or MuleSoft. Productize 5G APIs, IoT connectivity, and digital wallet services
• Implement API governance (OAuth 2.0, versioning) and lifecycle management. Develop SDKs and portals to grow developer ecosystems
• Drive scalable API adoption through strategic partnerships. Ensure compliance with CITC regulations and GCC interoperability standards
• Achieve 50%+ YoY API call growth and 1000+ active developers. Use analytics to optimise marketplace performance
• Advise C-level leaders on API strategy. Represent the organisation at global tech forums

Qualifications & Experienc

• 15+ years in API strategy or platform delivery. Telecom or SaaS experience in GCC required
• Led API transformation projects with 30%+ adoption growth. Proven developer ecosystem expansion
• Certifications: AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Architect, TOGAF, or ITIL. API design credentials preferred
• Expertise in GCC/KSA markets. Knowledge of CITC API regulations and Vision 2030 priorities
• Skilled in RESTful/GraphQL APIs, Kong, Jenkins, and monetisation analytics
• Bilingual fluency in Arabic and English. Exceptional strategic and technical communication
