Senior AppDev Engineer

Location : Remote

Focus: API layer, streaming responses, template management, dummy UI

We are looking for a Senior AppDev Engineer to design and build scalable, serverless application layers on AWS. The role emphasizes API design, real time/streaming responses, and lightweight UI integration.

Responsibilities

• Design and build REST and streaming APIs using Python on AWS Lambda
• Implement API Gateway (REST, WebSocket, SSE/HTTP streaming)
• Define OpenAPI specs and strong request/response contracts
• Build resilient systems with proper error handling (retries, timeouts, circuit breakers)
• Design DynamoDB tables and access patterns
• Develop a dummy UI using React or Next.js for demos and validation
• Provide technical ownership and mentor engineers

Must Have

• 7+ years of software engineering experience
• Python, AWS Lambda, API Gateway
• Streaming patterns: WebSocket, SSE, chunked responses
• DynamoDB (data modeling, TTL, encryption)
• OpenAPI design and documentation
• React or Next.js
• Strong understanding of reliability and resilience patterns
