Senior Application Administration Expert

Responsibilities

• Must have experience that demonstrates a strong background in application administration skills using various technologies.

• The candidate should have strong organizational skills, as well as the ability multi-task and work independently and as a team player.

• Must have administrative experience on Open layers, Geo Server, Bootstrap, SQL Server, Oracle, ArcGIS etc.

• Collaborate with stakeholders within ISD and other departments to ensure systems meet organizational goals and compliance standards.

• Oversee and enforce best practices to ensure the integrity, security, and availability of data and applications within the enterprise environment.

• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, software development project management methodologies (e.g. AGILE), and design tools is required.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with managers are required.

• Analytical and hardware/software troubleshooting skills are required.

• Serve as the SME for diagnosing and resolving complex application and system issues.

• Perform lead/supervisor duties as and when assigned.

• Lead the administration, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of enterprise and GIS-based applications to ensure stability, security, and performance

• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including system configurations, procedures, and application architecture.

• Participate in capacity planning, change management, and upgrade strategies to enhance system performance and scalability

Qualification

• Bachelor in IT or Relevant

• Relevance will be reviewed and confirmed by ISD in line with technical competencies of applicant.

Experience

1. Overall, 12 years of experience as an administrator into .Net technology and GIS Data Management applications/ tools.

2. 5 years total experience with developing in multiple languages / protocols (ASP.NET, C#, VB.NET, JavaScript, XML, Python, PHP, JSON, HTML5)

3. At least 2 years’ experience of applications/tools for GIS Data Management.

4. Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.

5. Solid experience with data modeling, business logic, and RESTful APIs.
