Primary Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the design and architecture for platform products and take an enterprise view to solve for enterprise needs
• Serve as the Cloud subject matter expert on Cloud, Azure platform
• Serve as solution architect for broad areas in cloud and data for new application developments or migration of existing infrastructure and applications to Cloud
• Generate architecture solution leveraging public or private or hybrid cloud deployment patterns using Optum best practices
• Collaborate with IT teams and business partners to understand business requirements and translate them into cloud solutions
• Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of cloud infrastructure
• Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and trends
• Develop disaster recovery and business continuity plans for cloud infrastructure
• Facilitate strategy or architecture discussions with clients and other stakeholders

• Design and prepare client ready material and present to the clients, executives

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 15+ years of experience in IT developing and architecting software solutions
• 8+ years of experience in cloud architecture and cloud services (possibly Azure)
• 5+ years of solid application modernization - digital transformation experience
• Deep experience with tool and application in the cloud (fullstack development, Angular + Java + Phyton)
• Deep experience in Data Engineering project
• Deep experience in areas adjacent to cloud like data engineering, AI, process improvement, etc.
• Deep experience in leading complex and high visibility projects
• Deep experience in developing cloud strategy, cloud data modernization strategy, architecture, and infrastructure roadmap for client organizations
• Hand-on experience on Databricks and possibly be proficient in Data handling and streaming
• Experience in cloud automation, cloud monitoring, and Cloud optimization
• Demonstrated experience in leading and managing large-scale, complex architectural projects from conception to implementation
• Experience identifying and remediating security vulnerabilities in cloud infrastructure
• Knowledge of the Healthcare domain or healthcare experience
• Familiar to Agile environment
• Extensive knowledge of software architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices
• Broad understanding of Cloud based security solutions and familiar with Healthcare specific regulatory specifications like HIPPA, PHI, PII
• Solid knowledge of Azure Cloud architecture, infrastructure & patterns
• Exposure to AI/ML Technologies
• Proven solid communication and collaboration skills
• Demonstrated ability to utilize GitHub Copilot to accelerate the development of high-quality code and optimize AI workflows

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with MongoDB
• Knowledge of AI tools and functionalities in Azure platform
• Demonstrated ability to handle AI-driven cloud solutions
