Revised Roles and Responsibilities
As the Studio Coordinator and Senior Architectural Designer, you will be the backbone of our design operations. This is a high-pressure, high-reward role that requires a "get-it-done" mentality and the professional maturity to navigate a fast-paced environment.
1. Leadership & Team Management
- Operational Command: Manage a multidisciplinary team of 12–15 architects, interior designers, and draftsmen. You are responsible for the output, discipline, and efficiency of the entire studio.
- Conflict & Behavior Management: Expertly handle team dynamics, including managing professional temperaments and interpersonal challenges. You must maintain a culture of accountability and ensure that personal grievances do not impede project progress.
- Mentorship & Growth: Lead regular performance reviews, identify talent gaps, and mentor junior staff. You hold the authority to recommend hiring or termination based on performance metrics and cultural fit.
- Quality Control: Act as the final gatekeeper for all drawings and 3D renders, ensuring they meet the firm’s standards before reaching the Principal Architect.
2. Comprehensive Project Coordination
- End-to-End Supervision: Oversee the lifecycle of projects from initial concept and mood boards to technical site execution.
- The Project Diary: Maintain a meticulous, real-time Project Diary for all ongoing works, documenting every milestone, change order, and communication.
- Strategic Scheduling: Masterfully prioritize tasks across multiple projects (KSA, USA, and local markets), ensuring that strict deadlines are met without compromising design integrity.
- Client & Site Liaison: Confidently handle complex site queries and maintain high-level client satisfaction through professional communication and technical expertise.
3. Advanced Design & Technical Execution
- Design Lead: Exercise full creative freedom to develop innovative architectural and interior solutions that align with the Principal Architect’s vision.
- Software Mastery: Direct and supervise the production of high-end visualizations using D5 Renderer, Lumion, and Enscape, and ensure precision in AutoCAD and SketchUp workflows.
- Pressure Management: Demonstrate the ability to thrive and remain composed under tight schedules and demanding international project requirements.
Employment Terms & Conditions
- Exclusive Professional Commitment: This is a 100% dedicated role. Upon hiring, the candidate must sign a Conflict of Interest Agreement.
- No Private Practice: The employee is strictly prohibited from engaging in any part-time job or projects, private consultancy, or external architectural work.
- Written Authorization: All professional energy must be directed toward the firm. Any exception for prior-existing or future commitments must be disclosed during the interview and requires explicit, written permission from the Company Management.
- Work Ethic: We are looking for a "hardened" professional, someone who views challenges as opportunities and possesses the grit to manage large-scale international workloads.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: B.Arch / M.Arch.
- Experience: 6–9 years of proven experience in high-end Residential & Commercial projects.
- Portfolio: A compelling portfolio demonstrating both conceptual brilliance and technical execution.
