Senior Architect – (UPDA A- Supervision)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified Senior Architect with UPDA Grade A certification and extensive supervision experience. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing architectural design implementation, ensuring compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams for successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise architectural works on-site and ensure alignment with approved drawings, specifications, and regulatory standards.
• Review, coordinate, and approve architectural shop drawings, materials, and samples.
• Provide technical guidance and resolve design/site issues during construction.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure smooth project execution.
• Conduct regular inspections and issue site instructions to maintain quality and safety standards.
• Ensure compliance with Qatar Construction Standards (QCS), international codes, and project requirements.
• Prepare progress reports and highlight potential risks, delays, or non-conformities.
• Mentor junior engineers/architects and contribute to professional development within the team.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture.
• UPDA Grade A certification (mandatory).
• Minimum 15 years of experience in architecture, with at least 10 years in supervision roles in Qatar.
• Strong knowledge of Qatar Construction Standards (QCS), international codes, and authority regulations.
• Proven ability to manage large-scale building and infrastructure projects.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
