Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Architect/Design Manager to join our dynamic team and lead the design of exciting and complex architectural projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all phases of project development, from concept to completion. This includes working closely with clients to understand their requirements, delivering innovative and functional design solutions, and ensuring the highest standards of quality are met. Additionally, the Senior Architect/Design Manager will mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment that aligns with our firm's values and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a comprehensive range of architectural tasks, including conceptual design, design development, site inspections, and preparation of project reports.
• Review and evaluate CAD drawings, 3D renderings, layouts, study models, construction documents, and material boards prepared by the design team.
• Develop design proposals and recommend modifications to optimize architectural solutions.
• Lead and manage all stages of the design process, from initial concept creation to the finalization of construction documentation.
• Ensure adherence to all relevant building codes, regulations, and standards applicable within Dubai and the UAE.
• Coordinate and collaborate closely with engineering, construction, and site teams to ensure cohesive project execution.
• Review, approve, and issue detailed design drawings, construction documents, and technical specifications prepared by team members.
• Provide technical guidance and oversight to architectural staff working on related projects.
• Lead project meetings and discussions with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders.
• Facilitate effective coordination with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors to drive seamless project progress.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress, ensure compliance with approved specifications and quality standards, and address emerging issues proactively.
• Participate in the preparation, evaluation, and review of bid documents, tenders, and related project materials.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and evolving technologies to continually enhance design quality and project delivery.
• Lead, mentor, and support junior architects and design staff, fostering professional growth and maintaining a high-performing architectural team.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum 10+ years of professional architectural experience, including at least 7 years in international consulting firm or a developer In Dubai, UAE.
• Proficient in design and project management software, including AutoCAD, Revit, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, 3D modeling tools, and Primavera.
• Extensive experience in the planning, design, and management of complex, multi-use developments, including residential and mixed-use buildings.
• Strong knowledge of design and construction management principles, including CPM scheduling, cost control, change order pricing/negotiation, and industry-standard construction techniques and practices.
• Must hold a valid UAE driving license to carry out the project meetings on/off the site.
• Fluent in Arabic and English with excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Deep understanding of architectural design principles such as form, function, materials, and methods, urban context, circulation, and compliance with design codes and standards.
• Ability to independently develop architectural procedures, protocols, and forms.
• Proven capability to present complex ideas and information to a variety of audiences using both verbal and visual methods.
• Familiarity with UAE authority regulations and experience in securing necessary approvals.
• Strong ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with team members, consultants, and stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational and coordination skills with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects effectively.

Pay: AED20,000.00 - AED25,000.00 per month
