Job Summary:

The senior Architectural Engineer is responsible for overseeing Architectural work at construction sites and ensuring compliance with technical standards and safety regulations. The role involves managing the installation, testing, and maintenance of Architectural works, coordinating with other engineering disciplines – design, planning, and material management, and resolving any issues during the project. lifecycle.

Responsibilities are not limited to:

• Design Review, Approvals & execution
• Review and validate the Architectural design drawings, Shop drawings, material submissions, and execution, and follow up on-site.
• Ensure compliance with codes, local and international standards, and project specifications.
• Site Supervision & Coordination
• Monitoring and attendance with the contractors during the execution of the works.
• Coordinate with structural and MEP teams.
• Ensure timely completion of civil/structural works per schedule.
• Conduct inspections and issue NCRs when needed.
• Verify as-built drawings and Operations & Maintenance manual
• Reporting & Risk Management
• Identify risks and propose corrective actions.
• Provide technical progress reports to the Project Sr Manager.
• Support in resolving on-site technical conflicts
• Perform any other tasks assigned to him by the line manager within the scope of work.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering or a related field.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification, preferred but not mandatory.
• 10 to 15 years of proven experience in architectural works within real estate development or construction projects (preferably mixed-use or high-rise).
• Prior experience in managing contractors and supervising multi-million-riyal projects.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi building codes, international standards, and sustainable design principles.
• Proven experience in project management and team supervision.
• Proven experience in liaising with project stakeholders
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and make informed decisions. Technical expertise in architectural (ID- Façades)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and project management software.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills (Arabic & English).
