Job Title: Senior Art Director


As a Senior Art Director , you are a visual storyteller and emerging creative leader.

You come from a background in design, branding, or art direction and have expanded your playground to include social, digital, and campaign thinking . You have the taste, instinct, and confidence to shape ideas from concept to execution, across branding, campaigns, and content.

You thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, guiding both clients and teams through the creative process with clarity and conviction. You think strategically, craft beautifully, and present with confidence, earning trust through both your vision and your execution.

You are hands on with craft but think like a creative lead, confident in directing teams, presenting ideas, and taking ownership of projects end to end. This role is ideal for an ambitious creative ready to step up toward a Creative Lead or Associate Creative Director position.


Key Responsibilities

Creative Direction & Conceptualizing

Translate strategic insights into creative ideas that are visually powerful and emotionally resonant.

Lead creative ideation and art direction across campaigns, content, and brand launches.

Collaborate with strategy and copy teams to develop integrated creative concepts.

Develop and present creative decks with clarity, confidence, and visual flair.

Push ideas further, elevating moodboards, storyboards, and layouts into full brand worlds.

Balance creative ambition with client objectives, ensuring each concept delivers impact and purpose.


Branding, Art Direction & Design Leadership

Own the visual direction for branding projects, from name and logo to look and feel, typography, and guidelines.

Work closely with designers to develop design systems, applications, and collateral that bring each brand to life.

Direct visual storytelling across branding, photography, film, social media, and digital design.

Oversee design execution and quality control across all creative outputs.

Guide junior designers and content creators to elevate their craft and consistency.

Contribute to creative reviews, giving clear and constructive feedback that raises the quality bar.


Campaigns, Content & Production

Art direct shoots from pre production and casting to on set direction and post production.

Collaborate with directors, photographers, and stylists to ensure visual cohesion and brand fidelity.

Oversee film and photography editing, ensuring a refined visual tone across platforms.

Direct creative output for digital campaigns including carousels, reels, short films, and hero visuals.

Understand what makes social content perform and how to adapt storytelling for different platforms.


Client Engagement

Join key client meetings and presentations as the creative voice in the room.

Confidently articulate creative rationale and guide discussions with clarity and purpose.

Build trusted relationships with client counterparts through strong creative partnership.

Collaborate with account and strategy teams to ensure creative excellence aligns with brand and business goals.


Team Leadership & Mentorship

Act as a mentor to designers, editors, and creators, providing feedback that inspires and improves.

Take ownership of creative projects from start to finish, working closely with creative leads and producers.

Help build a positive, ambitious, and collaborative creative culture.


Innovation & Future Thinking

Stay on top of visual trends, emerging platforms, and new tools including AI and digital design workflows.

Experiment with new creative formats, styles, and technologies to keep OUI’s work ahead of the curve.

Bring ideas that challenge the norm and push creative boundaries.


Capabilities

Required

8+ years in creative roles across art direction, branding, content creation, or campaign development.

Proven leadership across branding, content, and campaigns from concept to delivery.

Experience working with premium and luxury brands, particularly in hospitality, lifestyle, and F&B .

A portfolio showcasing creative authorship and refined taste, showing not just oversight but clear vision and craft.

Mastery across creative formats including short form video, photography, carousels, reels, motion graphics, and brand identity systems .

Strong grasp of digital, social, and visual culture with an eye for what cuts through.

Fluency in emerging tools and techniques, especially AI for creativity and workflow optimization .

Excellent communication and storytelling skills, both in presentations and collaboration.

Fluent English (Arabic is a plus).
