We are seeking a talented and creative Advertising Senior Art Director to lead the visual direction of our advertising campaigns. In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing high-impact creative concepts, directing design and art workflows, and ensuring that every deliverable meets the client’s goals and brand standards.

The ideal candidate has exceptional design instincts, strong command of Adobe Creative Suite, and practical animation/editing fundamentals to elevate campaign work. On-set production/art direction experience is a plus. You’ll collaborate across teams and clients, lead when needed, and mentor junior designers.


Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the creative team, copywriters, and account managers to develop and execute innovative advertising campaigns aligned with client objectives and target audiences.
  • Lead visual direction for advertising projects, ensuring brand consistency, quality, and adherence to creative strategy.
  • Create and develop visual concepts, storyboards, design layouts, and campaign assets that clearly communicate key messages and drive engagement.
  • Present creative concepts and recommendations to clients, incorporate feedback, and ensure final work meets the client’s vision and approval criteria.
  • Stay current on design trends, industry best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve creative ideas and production methods.
  • Produce, refine, and finalize assets using Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and related tools).
  • Apply animation and editing basics (as needed) to enhance the visual impact of campaign materials.
  • Partner with production teams during on-set shoots, providing art direction and helping translate the creative vision into real-world execution.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, track timelines, coordinate deliverables, and ensure work is completed with high accuracy and quality.
  • Mentor and guide junior designers, providing constructive feedback, supporting growth, and fostering a collaborative creative environment.
  • Maintain organized creative files, version control, and production-ready output standards for cross-team handoff.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience as an Art Director / Senior Art Director in advertising, marketing, or a creative agency environment.
  • Strong conceptual thinking and a highly developed design eye for layout, typography, composition, and visual storytelling.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign; animation/editing tools a plus).
  • Strong understanding of creative process, production workflows, and delivering client-ready campaigns.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and manage client feedback confidently.
  • Strong project management skills, including prioritization, deadlines, and multi-tasking.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to present creative ideas clearly.
