Senior Assistant Attorney - Direct Hire, in Wichita Falls, TX (Relo)

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Associate Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various areas of law, including but not limited to contract law, lease agreements and legal work. This role requires excellent negotiation skills and the ability to manage complex legal matters effectively.

Duties

• Review, redline, and draft a high volume of contracts, leases, and service agreements
• Provide legal review for city-wide contracts across 90 departments
• Handle contract reviews weekly, and new service agreements daily
• Negotiate and revise agreements with external vendors
• Advise internal city departments on legal compliance and risk mitigation

Qualifications

• 2-3+ years of legal experience
• Licensed to practice law in Texas (active certification required)
• Board certification in real estate or construction law is a plus!
• Strong background in contract law, lease agreements, and municipal/government legal work
• Previous public sector or municipal experience strongly preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
