Senior Assistant Caseworker-Office Support
The Office of Child and Family Services is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Assistant Caseworker, Office Support, to help maintain efficient office operations within a child welfare setting. This position requires strong organizational skills, professionalism, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while supporting staff, clients, and community partners. The ideal candidate will be dependable, customer service focused, and capable of managing a variety of administrative responsibilities with accuracy and confidentiality..
Key Responsibilities
Qualifications
With previous and/or current experience working for the Utah Division of Child & Family Services (DCFS).
Has worked with the State's social welfare database system, SAFE
Adobe Pro, Google and Microsoft experience.
Must have a current and valid Utah drivers license
Supplemental Information

May require 24-hour on-call services/time. 24-hour on-call services response time to be determined by the agency.
Department of Human Resource Management rules regarding promotions and transfers apply to current employees.
Travel required; you may be required to use your personal vehicle to perform the duties of this position; approved mileage is reimbursable through State Finance.
All DCFS job offers are contingent upon passing a Background Screening Application (BSA).
Must have a valid Utah driver’s license.

The State of Utah requires all employees to physically work inside the State of Utah Boundaries.
Physical Requirements
Moderate - Some of the work performed requires some physical exertion. You may be required to stand; walk over rough surfaces; bend; crouch; stoop; stretch; reach; lift moderately heavy items (up to 50 lbs.), e.g. lifting a small child in a recurring manner and/or for long periods of time.
Working Conditions
Moderate Risk - Risks found in the typical office setting, which is adequately lighted, heated and ventilated, e.g. safe use of office equipment, avoiding trips and falls, observing fire regulations, etc.
Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to perform the work, however, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying light items; driving an automobile, etc. Special physical demands are not required to perform the work
