CHS has five major sections – Epidemiology & Biostatistics, Health Policy & Management, Population & Reproductive Health, Environmental-Occupational and Climate Change (EOHCC), and Non-Communicable Diseases & Mental Health.

Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for:

provide first-level troubleshooting support for hardware, software, printers, internet connectivity, and peripheral devices within the department
-
coordinate with central IT teams for resolution of technical issues and follow-up on service requests
-
support installation, configuration, and maintenance of departmental computer systems and related equipment
-
assist faculty and staff in the use of online platforms, virtual meeting tools, learning management systems, and departmental applications
-
provide technical support during virtual, hybrid, and in-person academic sessions, workshops, seminars, and meetings
-
maintain inventory records of IT equipment and coordinate repair/replacement as required
-
ensure proper setup and functioning of classroom technology, audiovisual systems, and online teaching platforms
-
assist in maintaining departmental data storage, shared drives, and electronic records in coordination with relevant teams
-
perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor in line with departmental requirements.
Requirements:
You should have:
-
Bachelor’s or master’s degree preferred in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field from a recognized institution
-
relevant IT certifications (e.g., Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA) will be an added advantage
-
minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in IT support or systems administration
-
experience in troubleshooting hardware, software, and basic network issues
-
exposure to enterprise IT environments will be preferred
-
strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, basic Linux)
-
understanding of networking concepts (LAN/WAN, IP configuration, troubleshooting)
-
proficiency in MS Office and common enterprise applications
-
good problem-solving and analytical skills
-
effective communication and interpersonal skills
-
ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure
-
strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
