The Aga Khan University invites applications for the position of Senior Assistant (Undergraduate) in the Dept. of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

Job Role / Responsibilities:

You will be responsible to:

  • Maintain and update complete record & files (Students Logbook, Continuous Assessment Forms, Faculty Tutorial Evaluations and End of Clerkship Course Evaluation Forms).
  • Assist Undergraduate Program activities as indicated by program director.
  • Assist UG program director, coordinator in internal and external review, OSCEs, arranging teaching sessions.
  • Assist in the scheduling of committee meetings and recording of minutes.
  • Prepare and circulate monthly evaluation forms to faculty and maintaining an updated record.
  • Maintain leave record of all students with their leave applications.
  • Maintain attendance record of daily sessions.
  • Assist in the arrangements of in-service exam and teaching sessions.
  • Typing various teaching and academic assignments, recommendation letters.
  • make arrangements and installation of audio-visual equipment for the meetings / teaching sessions.
  • keep track of faculty schedules, meetings, and appointments. Also providing administrative support in the meetings.
  • participate and facilitate ISO, JCIA, and quality-related activities
  • arrange logistics for academic activities, CMEs, keep records and attendance.
  • assist in coordinating special projects and events as assigned by the supervisor.

Eligibility Criteria /Requirements:

You should have:

  • a Graduate degree with at least two years of related experience
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • excellent organizational skills and discretion with confidential information
  • good knowledge of computers particularly of MS Office package
  • ability to handle multiple tasks independently and perform under pressure.
