Candidate Profile:
LL.B. having 2-4 years PQE. Mandatory prior experience in Tier 1 or Tier 2 law
firms and having exposure in drafting, reviewing and negotiating transactions
documents, conducting due diligence and supporting fund raising activities;
Strong contract drafting skills;
Exposure to Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) tools will be added
advantage;
Ability to work in a face-paced and collaborative environment;
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management;
Knowledge of FDI laws, data protection laws and fintech will added advantage;
Preference will be given to candidates from Tier 1 law schools.
Key Responsibilities:
Contract Management
Draft, review, redline, negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts with
vendors, logistics partners, SaaS/tech providers, manpower suppliers, contract
manufacturers, material supply agreements, NDAs, employment contracts, and
lease deeds etc.
Identify, assess, and mitigate legal, contractual, and business risks by advising
on and negotiating key risk-allocation clauses.
Oversee the end-to-end CLM, contract repository maintenance, alerts, and
reporting;
Develop and standardize contract templates, negotiation playbooks and work
with business teams to ensure legal alignment with commercial objectives.
Compliance & Regulatory
Ensure compliance with applications regulatory laws such as FSSAI, Legal
Metrology, labour laws, trade/warehouse licenses and allied regulatory
frameworks.
Monitor and manage statutory filings, license renewals, and compliance with
packaging and labelling requirements etc.
IPR & Policy Support
Manage the company’s IP portfolio including trademark filings, renewals, and
enforcement; ensure clear IP ownership in all contracts.
Draft internal policies such as code of conduct, anti-bribery, and data protection
policies; conduct training and awareness sessions for employees.
