Construction Litigation Attorney – Philadelphia (Hybrid)

A well-established mid-sized law firm in Center City Philadelphia is seeking a Senior Construction Litigation Attorney to join its team. The firm has built a strong reputation over the past 35+ years and is widely recognized for its deep bench of attorneys handling complex construction and commercial litigation matters.

About the Role:
The incoming attorney will work alongside experienced litigators on a range of construction disputes, including public and private projects, contract issues, and claims involving delay, defects, and bid protests. This position offers a hybrid work schedule (3 days in-office, 2 remote), direct client exposure, and a clear path for professional growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle construction and commercial litigation matters from pleadings through trial
  • Draft motions, pleadings, discovery, and legal memoranda
  • Represent clients in state and federal court, as well as before boards and agencies
  • Provide litigation support to trial counsel and assist with case strategy
  • Conduct legal research and analysis related to construction law issues

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of construction or commercial litigation experience
  • Licensed to practice in Pennsylvania (additional jurisdictions a plus)
  • Strong writing, research, and analytical skills
  • Experience with both public and private construction matters preferred

Details:

  • Hybrid schedule: 3 days in office / 2 remote
  • Billable expectation: 1,900 hours
  • Compensation: $150,000 – $250,000 base, plus bonus potential up to $30,000
